MiniMAC Maestro

MiniMAC Maestro II in cardboard; multi-voltage (230V/50HZ); Included CDM 150 SA/T lamp ; Titan color

Designed for high quality projection of patterns, images, logos, text and messages, the MiniMAC Maestro is an ultra-compact automated moving head useful in a variety of environments.

The MiniMAC Maestro features a top quality optical system, which together with the long life (6000H) 150W CDM-SA/T discharge lamp, ensures a perfect projection of up to 4 images. The 4 slots for gobos are all easy interchangeable and can be rotated or indexed in any position.

Useful in retail environments, exhibitions, restaurants and hotels, any image can be projected onto walls, ceilings, floors, anywhere desired.
A precise remote focus keeps the projection razor-sharp. It is possible to insert a color flag, for color change, and the light can be instantly blacked out via the remote controlled shutter.

The MiniMAC Maestro offers precise movement in a range of 540° of pan by 270° of tilt. Its small size and wide range of movement make it ideal for even the smallest settings and ceiling heights. Fixture settings are controlled via a 3-digit control panel and a switch-selectable, power supply setting gives full flexibility.

The MiniMAC Maestro offers all the power of a bright 150-watt discharge source (included) and may be operated via DMX controllers or via the on- board memory for stand-alone programming. The stand alone programming can be done via the display or via an infrared remote control (optional). Multiple MiniMAC Maestros can run synchronized in master/slave configuration.

The MiniMAC Maestro is available in white or titanium finishes, so that environments from restaurants to shops can easily and discretely integrate its many features

User manual
Sample project specification

General
The luminaire shall be an automated moving head gobo projector employing a 150 watt discharge lamp as the light source.

Mechanical effects
The luminaire shall provide one wheel with four positions for insertable images. Each position shall rotate continuously and shall stop at any designated angle. The image holders shall accept glass or metal media 37.5 mm (1.48 in.) in diameter and up to 3 mm (1/8 in.) thick. The holders shall be spring-mounted to facilitate removal from the wheel. The optical train shall include a motorized lens to provide variable focus from one meter to infinity. The focal length shall be 90 mm (3.54 in.). The luminaire shall provide a mechanical shutter to open and close the light output. The head of the luminaire shall rotate 270° on the tilt axis. It shall be mounted on an arm that rotates 540° on the pan axis.

Control
The luminaire shall respond to command signals from both USITT DMX512 compatible control devices and a proprietary infrared remote control. The luminaire shall have 3-pole male and female XLR sockets for serial data transfer. (Optional: For infrared data transfer, an infrared transmitter and receiver module shall be provided.) The luminaire shall provide onboard memory for the storage of 20 scenes that define image selection, rotation angle, focus, shutter position, pan and tilt angle, scene duration, and transition time. All user-selected software settings shall be adjustable via an onboard control panel with LED display. The luminaire's firmware shall be installable via serial upload.

Performance
The luminaire shall emit a luminous flux of 1000 lumens in an 18° focused beam with no image inserted.

Housing
The exterior of the luminaire shall be constructed of high temperature UV-resistant fiberglass-reinforced nylon with integral black color. The color of the top base cover and the covers for the arm and head shall be white or titanium. The housing shall provide a protection factor of IP 20.

Installation
The luminaire shall operate in any orientation. It shall be furnished with a bracket to which a mounting clamp may be bolted. The bracket shall attach to the base with quarter-turn fasteners. When installed above floor level, secondary attachment shall be fastened to the base of the luminaire.

Electrical
The luminaire shall provide switch-selectable settings for operation on 50 and 60 Hz supplies at 100, 120, 210, 230, and 250 volts. It shall be fitted with a three-prong male IEC socket for connection to AC power. The luminaire shall be electrically grounded. The luminaire shall conform to CE safety standards EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-17, and to CE electromagnetic compatibility standards EN 50 081-1 and EN 50 082-1. The luminaire shall be cETL certified for compliance with CSA standard C22.2 No. 166, and ETL certified for compliance with ANSI/UL standard 1573. (Certification pending.)

Environmental
The luminaire shall be located in a dry area in which the ambient temperature does not exceed 40° C (104° F).
