A ruggedly constructed medium throw follow spot, the SATELLITE-1 produces a hard or soft edged beam which zooms from a 9.6' to 26.5' diameter circle at a distance of 75' with the iris fully open. The beam may be further attenuated by using the integral iris for spot size adjustment and the integral framing shutters for top and bottom edge framing. The Satellite-1 is designed for use with the 575 watt HMI lamp. The luminaire is used in any application where manual control of a lighting beam is required to follow a performer and to vary beam size, quality and color.

Specifications

LAMPHOUSE: Sheet steel, sheet aluminum, and die-cast aluminum construction.

INTERCONNECT CABLE: Detachable 14/5 SOW provided with NEMA L21-20 locking blade connectors.

IGNITION SWITCH: 120 VAC, 15 amp momentary push-button switch.
COOLING: Forced air cooling via three fans, all exposed fans provided with finger guards.
YOKE: 1/8 " flat steel with heavy duty locking dog tilt handle.
LENSES: All lenses are high purity crown glass (white plate). Front lens: 10 x 20 plano convex. Rear lens: 4.5 x 9 plano convex.
REFLECTOR: Anodized aluminum, ellipsoidal design.
SHUTTERS: 2 leaf, 18 gauge stainless steel, rear operated.
IRIS: 18 leaf, high grade stainless steel, rear operated.
COLOR CHANGER: 6 frame, self canceling color boom allows for single or multiple colors to be inserted into beam path. Color changer removable without the use of tools.
DOWSER: Allows for instantaneous blackout and incorporated into color boom.
DIMMER: Mechanical, 18 leaf, high grade stainless steel, rear operated.
ACCESS DOOR: Hinged, allows access to lamp and reflector for replacement.
SAFETY SWITCH: Automatic safety switch disconnects power if access door is opened.
HOUR METER: 7 digit readout, non-resettable, 1/100 hour increments.
FOCUSING, FIXTURE: Dual zoom lens carriers travel along zinc plated steel carriage rods, each lens carrier provided with lock knob. Four side mounted hand rails provided for aiming fixture.
STAND: Three legged stand is height adjustable (12" maximum), each leg provided with wheel, wheel lock and leveling jack. Height adjustment lock allows for 360°
continuous pan.
FINISH: Baked black enamel, electrostatic application.
WEIGHT: Approx. 69 lbs. for lamphouse, & approx. 52 lbs. for stand (support column, base and yoke).
